In a ceremony held during the annual Liberal Social Impact Conference, The Tel Aviv Foundation received the 2022 Impact Award in the Public Sector, for the initiative to reduce elderly loneliness in partnership with SFI via Social Impact Bonds.
The program to reduce elderly loneliness provides an array of tech tools, specifically designed for senior citizens, along with volunteers, and social workers, which are set to help us reconnect, alleviate loneliness, and increase our well-being and independence – fostering a true sense of belonging.
In 2022 200 women and men took part in the program, (18 of them are holocaust survivors), reporting a 26% increase in the sense of belongingness.
