Accessibility Statement

The Tel Aviv Foundation website meets the requirements of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Adaption of Accessibility to Services), 2013.

The website conforms to the recommendations of the Israeli standard (SI 5568) for web content accessibility at Level AA and the recommendations of W3Cs WCAG 2.0 document.
It has also been adapted for display on the most popular Web browsers, among them google chrome and explorer 11 in their most updated version.

It is recommended to use this site with a desktop version to get most of the accessibility adjustments.
We also recommend using the NVDA screen reader to use on our site.

 

How To Use The Site

Site Navigation
There is a navigation bar at the top of the site pages, from where you can access all pages.

Navigation between areas
The site pages are divided into areas – main menu area, central content area, page menu in some pages and footer area. There is a possibility to skip between the areas, so it is easier to get the content you want faster.
At the beginning of each page, there is a Level 1 title that indicates the name of the page you are in.

Keyboard shortcuts
To navigate the site using the keyboard, use the Tab button. Each click will take you to the next link.
Clicking Shift + Tab will take you back to the previous link.

Accessibility menu
These accessions can be used in the accessibility menu

  • Enlargement and reduction of the font size
  • Zoom in and out of the screen
  • Screen contrast, light or dark
  • Headline markup
  • Highlight links in color or line
