The Social Food Market Inauguration

The Social Food Market was inaugurated today in a ceremony attended by the mayor and the General Custodian.

The Tel Aviv Foundation and the Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, in partnership with Leshuva and Mesila, established the Social Food Market to provide food security and nutritional guidance to asylum seekers, refugees, and work immigrants through respectful food distribution experiences.

Nearly 1,000 families are supported by the Market, which provides a reliable food supply and directly impacts the stability of families and the community with the goal of minimizing food insecurity.
