The Tel Aviv Foundation – Supporting the Gaza Envelope Communities & Developing Sderot Public Space

The new Urban Living Room in Sderot has opened as part of a strategic partnership with the Tel Aviv Foundation, which leads long-term mentoring and guidance programs with the communities of Sderot and Netiv HaAsara in the Gaza Envelope region. This wonderful initiative includes professional training, development of community programs, and an ongoing resource mobilization system.

The festive opening ceremony was attended by city residents, municipality representatives, the Sderot Foundation, and Mayor Alon Davidi. The project, born from collaboration between the Sderot Municipality, Tel Aviv Foundation, and Tel Aviv-Yafo Municipality, creates an innovative community space that promotes values of equality and pluralism, while strengthening personal and community resilience and helping reduce feelings of loneliness among residents.
