The Cinematheque supports and promotes cinema in Israel, and serves as a home for Israeli cinema and filmmakers. More than just a movie theater, the Cinematheque offers educational programs, provides a platform for young artists, and hosts a variety of film festivals. Established thanks to the generosity of the Marc Rich Foundation, with additional support over the years from Hollywood actress Goldie Hawn, Stan Cayman, the Peres family and others.
