The Centre is the home of dance in Israel and the premier presenter of Israeli and international contemporary dance companies. Located in Neve Tzedek, the centre served as a catalyst for its development. Its beautiful and sprawling multi-level campus consists of four performance halls, numerous rehearsal studios, a restaurant, and outdoor plazas. The establishment of the centre, which was the vision of Mayor Shlomo (Cheech) Lahat, was made possible thanks to the generosity of Jack and Zehava Dallal.
