Emergency shelters in schools are commonly used as everyday multi-purpose rooms during times of stability. As a result, students feel comfortable and safe using the rooms and are not frightened by the shelter in times of crisis. Thanks to the generosity of the Neubauer Family Foundation, the renovation of 43 emergency shelters in schools throughout the city was possible ensuring the safety of Tel Aviv-Yafo’s children.
