Background: This project will convert Basel Square, an important public space in north Tel Aviv, into a green and pleasant urban space all year round. Greening the space will counter the heat emitted from surrounding buildings and traffic, and reduce air pollution. The project also involves installing shade, outdoor furniture and facilities to enable
community activities in a new urban oasis.
