THE PUBLIC SPACE / INNOVATION

Located at the western end of HaYarkon Street in the Old North of Tel Aviv, the first trees in the park were planted on Israel’s first Independence Day in 1949. It became an official park in 1952 and was renovated in 2009 as part of the celebrations held to mark Tel Aviv’s Centennial anniversary. The park was revitalized thanks to the generosity of Nachum Kalka.
